Fergal is a micro stakes cash game grinder with close to a million hands under his belt. He has been playing poker for over a decade now and has always been passionate about the game, but for the majority of his career was a complete recreational player. After discovering Twitch poker he expanded his knowledge of the game rapidly and over the past 12 months has gone from a break even player, to a micro-stakes cash game crusher. After taking a brief hiatus from poker at the beginning of the year due to exams, he deposited a small roll to grind 10NL in March and is now playing 25NL as his main game with an aim to moving up to 50NL shortly. He now streams his play regularly via Twitch at www.twitch.tv/fergb12345 and also offers coaching to other micro-stakes players. He treats poker as a side income alongside his full-time job working in IT.

Very nice video, lots of interesting bits. Not sure I liked one or two of the steals with such short stacks behind who seemed to be quite lively in this game. Great vid with lots of info, thank you.

26:23 Ah9c CO v BU. Again, this would be bottom of my range here anyway, I think if I raise I call it off because raising to fold to the shorty is a bit meh. I'd call AT there just about but let's face it, short stacks love to bully with their stack size. I'd be interested in finding out if my thinking is too nitty or sensible. Thanks! :)

Definitely fine to open there in a five handed game. Calling off and folding here are definitely going to be close. I lean towards folding but I wouldn't be shocked to find out calling is marginally better.

I like raise fold, I find shortstack jams are usually way too tight to make this profitable call, unless I saw him already jam something wide. Calling of 30bb with A9o seems "optimistic"

19:26 As3d in CO. This would be a loose steal for me anyway from that position and would need info that table was fold happy, but I would fold it pre here because of the SB stack size. I think raise folding those is a bit of a waste but then I'm a nit anyway! :)

This is probably close but I think stealing here will be ok, I assume short stackers are terrible and usually are not jamming correctly and will be over folding quite a bit.

14:35 Ac9d I think this was an oops. I made it around 22-23% ish, adding in a bit of PDDS I still couldn't make it 30%. 99-QQ,77,55, KdQd, KdJd, KdTd, AdJd, AdTd, Ad8d, Td8d, 9c7c, 8d6d What do you think?

Yeh I agree, this was an error almost certainly but we got lucky.
