Fergal is a micro stakes cash game grinder with close to a million hands under his belt. He has been playing poker for over a decade now and has always been passionate about the game, but for the majority of his career was a complete recreational player. After discovering Twitch poker he expanded his knowledge of the game rapidly and over the past 12 months has gone from a break even player, to a micro-stakes cash game crusher. After taking a brief hiatus from poker at the beginning of the year due to exams, he deposited a small roll to grind 10NL in March and is now playing 25NL as his main game with an aim to moving up to 50NL shortly. He now streams his play regularly via Twitch at www.twitch.tv/fergb12345 and also offers coaching to other micro-stakes players. He treats poker as a side income alongside his full-time job working in IT.

Great video. The JJ call was really nice. I felt he was repping QQ but also A3s if aggressive 3bettor. I'd have never made that call, I just assume no-one x/r bluffs the river in 3bet pots and find a way to give it up even if it makes no sense. Well played. I love watching you and KDJ. Your both so chilled.

7.12 - Interesting you opted to fold your Q high FD. This would be a spot where I would automatically call, especially given the bet sizing. Could you maybe expand on this? My thinking would be there are a lot of players still to act behind us, and a lead out into 3 players (1 of which opened UTG) looks strong... but would our implied odds not be decent if we hit vs. someone with 7x or an overpair? MP could call TT/QQ/JJ although we block queens and jacks vs. UTG. The paired board isn't the best incase we get more callers and they make a FH at some point, but facing crazy action on future streets, we could get away from the hand. That would be my thought process! This could be a spot where I'm going wrong though

Sure, this was actually mentioned in the comments section on Youtube. It was absolutely, 100% either a misclick or else I misread my hand. I read the comment on Youtube and immediately assumed the guy was mistaken, then when I rewatched it I felt like quite the fool for broadcasting that to the world.

Ahhh ok! Sorry, didn't see the YouYube comment! Happens to all of us :P

Is the fold really that bad though? Paired board, not a nut draw, 4 way pot, tough to play almost any turn....

Agreed it's not going to be an immensely profitable spot but I feel folding is way to weak there. You're right though, if the flush comes in it's still not a hand we're looking to play stacks for.
