No, no, don't raise, just call, no... christ, just call! :D Loved this video. Really good comments and very helpful as well.

Jon-PokerVIPon 5/2/15

Some really nice comments there Lazy - Some you agreed with me and some you didn't. With the bluff hand vs 99 i think its good (vs a reg) as we look strong, do this with our overpairs and the main reason is villains hand is really face up. Would be awesome to hear what others think on this hand?

lazygrinderon 1/2/15

ATo was horrible raise ott vs the donkbet after checking flop. think about what your repping , secondly watch out with repping narrow ranges vs crappy players at the micro's

lazygrinderon 1/2/15

pay attention when you are setting up for rivershoves. like the 777 hand just raise flop a bit bigger and bet turn slightly bigger , so then ur rivershove doesn't look like a small overbet. Also i don't like raising flop as jon said , only Kx calls you but since u did ---> raise a bit bigger since with his Kx hands he is not going to fold vs a 3x or 4x raise

lazygrinderon 1/2/15

As played ( TT hand) i'd call flop and shove on any non A, K , spade. not that i'd like it but what's the point of calling preflop when we are pussying out on this flop? Also his potbet looks weak

lazygrinderon 1/2/15

I don't agree with coldcalling TT there . Again i can't read your hud . IF co was an agressive 3 bettor ( you'd have to check whether he also 3bets agressively vs MP ) i'd probably 4 bet calll ( obv not fistpump when facing a 5 bet shove). If my assumptions are wrong about villain just fold. sometimes it's better to fold a bit of EV in order to save yourself a huge mistake in a big pot. If his 3bet stats were ' normal' vs MP i'd snapfold or cold 4bet. Readless i'd snapfold without even blinking. we are basically playing a guessing game. You need alot more info on villain in order to play this hand EV+ basically which u probably don't have. ( cuz sample size i guess at 10 nl)

lazygrinderon 1/2/15

also consider a delayed cbet. i'd bet any K, Q, A, 9 , T basically all scarecards and cards that improve my equity besides maybe 8x cuz now i have decent SD value vs A hi , Khi. So we are not giving up on the hand just yet , 19 cards in the deck we can bluff// semibluff , if we bink an 8 we hit a pair and then we beat hands like AQ, Kq and we even have a redraw to a gutter. f yeah!

lazygrinderon 1/2/15

the Q8s 3b pot where we barrel off on Jxx was absolutely horrible vs an unknown for obv reasons. A) flop no equity B) we 3 bet otb , our perceived range is alot wider than let's say btn vs MP C) we rep a narrow range basically JJ+ D) shoving the river looks retarded cuz if we did have a narrow value range we would look to get called by exactly the hand you put him on Jon E) obv villain also has Jx in his range , especially at the micro's where derps show up with hands like AJo , QJ , JT , J9 cuz they plan to flop the world. F) hoping they are not going to herocall river in this particular spot is way too ambitious against a villain that likely does not even understand perceived ranges and any kind of metagame ( we know we rep a narrow range and suppose villain knows as well hence we hope villain folds river). G) don't vary your 3bet sizes so obviously unless you are up against fish who will never notice cuz they simply don't care and don't take notes. 3X is the max in this spot with your whole range. H) Your postflop betsizes don't make any sense here at all ( 1/2 1/2 and then nearly pot) , i'd probably l-o-l call here if i was villain too. Again your bet looks alot more like trying to make your opponent to fold then making him call which doesn't make any sense if you are repping AA KK QQ JJJ. ALso i don't know whether you 3bet KJ , AJ here ( not saying you should but some people do even vs randoms) , another reason for me to call if i was villain since i simply don't believe you would pick such a big sizing with most of your Jx. Exploitative play is pretty cool at 10 nl but that doesn't mean nobody is paying attention , was this guy a reg you had a certain history with/ reads on? couldn't tell cuz i couldn't read your hud ( low res)

Jon-PokerVIPon 15/1/15

As Pokershark said be careful with the sizings but overall a solid job :). 100% make more notes.

Jon-PokerVIPon 15/1/15

Interesting that the sb opening was a loss, i had a sneaky feeling it might be. Just construct a solid range or literally just tighten up a little. It will bring those losses down quickly!

pokersharkon 15/1/15

good video just the different sizing may be a big leak for instance a good player that takes notes is going to be able to read ur soul when doing it against them . you should start color coding bad players what iv starting doing after each session is go throw my hand replayer an color code them that way an also do it in game . ur going to be crushing once uv sorted the very few leaks you have nice work keep it up

Danwanon 15/1/15

You told me that I open to much small blind vs bb and said that i´m probably win very much sb vs bb or losse pretty much. Unfortunately it was a leak and I´m gonna start tightening up.

Danwanon 15/1/15

Hi Jon. Thanx for the Review. Interesting and fun to see my own game and hear your comments. I´m gonna try to implement your suggestions to my game, and send you a new Review. This time NL25. (moving up :-))
