EV

In Poker Strategy Discussion, EV (Expected Value) refers to the amount that one expects to win based on the mathematical likelihood of that outcome.

In other words, EV is the 'Expectation' of a result. For example, if you go all-in preflop for $100 ten times in a row with AA vs. KK, you expect to win 8 times out of 10. Therefore your EV is +$800.
