I mostly get into calling-mode when i get raised on the flop. Is this the right thing to do?
Should I ever donkbet the river here when villain raises flop and bets turn?

It's rare value hands would raise this flop so I would immediately put him on a draw 56 / 89 / T8 etc. TT would 3bet PF so only sets likely are 6 combos of 77 / 44

I like just calling as it allows these hands to barrel the turn when he misses

On the turn, 56 gets there which is a little scary, so call is fine

I wouldn't like donking river when board pairs as it isolates ourselves against 56 and full houses. It doesn't get called by worse and folds out all bluffs

You played it fine imo

I think your line is fine.

Once 65 gets there on the turn our call might be quite thin as the only draw left is 98. With a flush draw still in play calling becomes an easier play.
