Jon-PokerVIP: Yeh for sure. It is always tempting to do the 'easier' things especially when it comes to relaxing and just pure enjoyment really. It is 10000000% more chilled to play Fifa or just watch TV and with your lifestyle looking after the kids i think i would probably find myself doing the same thing.
I have friends who have kids and i can't imagine being able to juggle it, be alert and WANT to grind. This is just due to how tired they are, they literally can't sit down or sleep for more than a few hours at a time as the kids wake up or need something.
I can't offer any advice tbh as its not something i have done but i will say to look at speed type games. Basically quicker to start a session, quicker to sit out and might work around your day to day.
I did have a dabble in the speed games and at first all seemed great but then I started losing so veered away from there fairly quickly. I would like to go back to speed games at some point because I was enjoying the fast pace and the fact that you can get through a lot of hands in a shorter space of time
I am really enjoying playing poker at the moment so have no issue spending my free time grinding the micro stakes rather than the usual watching tv, etc. Whilst I am enjoying it I intend to spend as much time at the tables as I can and if there is also money rolling in then that should keep me motivated to continue.
