Turned around he downswing a bit which is nice! Had dipped down to about 1100 and I’m now back up over 1200. Won a few quid via sports bets this weekend also so nice and ready to fire the milly tonight on stars!
Here’s one of the most optimistic call downs I’ve witnessed:
Fired in a bunch of tournaments this evening and bricked them all which was tilting. There were all on Stars so separate from my Winner BR, busted a total of ~€300 events including the milly. I have 5% of a guy that's currently ITM though so hopefully he just wins a milly and I get $50k
I played some cash afterwards and I was playing near flawless poker until I drove myself off a cliff:
Overall extremely happy with how I played but my first large loss was a 300bb with QQ vs KK that I should have been able to get away from, the second big one was a straight into boat which I'm fine with.
Our clusterfuck of a downswing is over though I think!
Another short session with a very solid result! Downswing has officially been negated and BR is now peaking at €1330 from the original €600, more rakeback due as well so that should bring me up above €1360.
Lost major hands were AQ < AA where I 5bet jammed vs an aggro reg that threebet my iso vs a fishy limper. Second hand was KK < A5 in a threeway threebet pot on 553ss.

I think I messed this hand up pretty badly, feel I could have gotten max value from the CO. I was pretty confident I was up against a set so knew I was stacking the BTN pretty much always no matter what I did (occasionally he shows a straight here too but sets seemed more likely) but I feel I definitely missed value, had the CO marked as a whale so would never expect him to fold TT+ or straight draw type hands etc so jamming turn seems like it might be a lot better.
Had a couple of short sessions the last two days, yesterday was +€10 and today +€50. Both were very short, todays was particularly beautiful with prior absolutely donating me the monies.
This hand takes the absolute cake!
BR is approaching €1400 now and I’ve this weeks rakeback due later this evening so with that it should push me above that mark meaning we’re less than 5BI away from moving onto the 50NL reg tables!
Haven’t updated this in a while, unfortunately the journey is going to have to take a hiatus though! We’re potentially going to be buying a new house in the near future so I’ve had to withdraw the vast majority of my funds across all sites to go towards that.
I’m keeping a few hundred on GUTS so will continue playing there occasionally but for now my Winner journey is over! The plan is to play 50NL with 6BI’s and run it up. Anyone want to set a line on whether I go busto or not?!
2 tables some 50NL anon tables tonight after many beers. 300 BR is not up to >500! Had the enviable position of picking up on a hyper aggro player to my immediate right within 3 orbits on one of the tables and proceeded to make him my bitch with a few well times bluffs, then completed him with KK>AKs and then he tilt five bet jammed AJ into my AKs and I held! 10BI now, odds of going broke have diminished a decent chunk but still obviously reasonably likely. I’d currently set the line at 4:1 against to go broke!
Another solid session last night where I picked up a couple of buy ins. Roll has grown to ~€635 so I’ve got a nice 12.5BI “cushion” now!
Playing this underrolled makes every sweet so much more fun I have to say. Got AA in on the flop vs pair + flush draw, I had the backdoor A high flush draw also. Villain turned the flush and I rivered the better flush. I can’t remember celebrating a €100 pot as much as I did when I binked this river!
