Honestly it looks really cool to me, the only thing I don't like are those rules where set beats a straight and a flush beats a FH
Might give it a try when it launches

Oh wow the fact the rules change and hand values will lead to huge confusion and seriously bad plays! Will have to create a video series!!!

Supposedly poker sites are worried the fish get eaten too fast and don't come back? Well this game, where regs will quickly sort out the maths but fish still be fish, I predict fish will get destroyed even faster. By the time they realize a straight is garbage, they'll have dropped 1-2 BI and rage-quit. Fact is, there aren't too many stone-cold idiots anymore in NLHE, anyone with an hour of study can at least get a starting hand guide and some basic strategy.

BTW they are really rules changes so much as adjustments for hand probabilities. I assume y'all know that, but just in case....

btw the game is already going, at least on coral. unfortunately only nl4 atm, but it's quite fun.

Just wanted to say I played it and it's quite fun. Anyone here who played it enough to have an opinion?

Also I'm quite interested in this game's theory so if anyone has some knowledge of that side of it I'd like to hear some if you are willing to share it. I'm also doing a little project with a friend about calculating equity and stuff, hope to get some info from that. I might post about it in the theory discussion section if we manage to make the program.

Actually interested tbh, must be nice to not constantly be dealt 2's and 3's!

If anyone has played this, and/or has a link to a decent study guide, one of the degen's who runs one of my home games wants to do this one night. Nit that I am, I want to have some idea what I'm getting into, strategy-wise.

@CycleVancouver There's a 6+ strategy article on PokerVIP Here , a lot of useful information there. Other than that I don't think I've seen any strategy guides on this variant of the game.

@killjoy1987 You get dealt a LOT less crap though
