Pre is looser than I normally defend vs 3bets but I had seen this guy light 3bet IP so much in the few hands I had, plus cbet aggressively and raise a lot in general so I figured it was just OK.

On the flop I can't really call as I know he will be barrelling constantly based on what I have seen so far. So with two overs, GS and BDFD I get a bit too creative. I should just play like the weak tight passive nit I know how to play right?! I think this play would be a lot more sensible in a SRP but I got carried away trying to defend aggression. I left the table straight after. I had sat out when he appeared on left and this was in the orbit before I quit

I think that he can have loads of Ax or Kx that can't continue, some small PP's, maybe even JT that I beat (but I suspect he would jam that over a raise anyway). It might not be horrendous. Unless he calls then it was a terrible plan.

Once he calls jam it? Or just give up when he jams vs my check?

Pre folding and calling probably similar. Flop I'm not x/r ever on this flop as I x/c all my sets and over pairs here. Once he calls NEVER shove OTT he has KK/AA and will snap

Yeah this was pretty bad as I said in the OP. My range construction sucked as I would X/C all my sets here so I have no defendable X/R range really. You know on the the other one when I say it wasn't as awful? This one definately was, wrong board, with wrong preflop action. Right villain maybe and if this was SRP then maybe GS, 2 overs and a BDFD could be OK. But here it super sucks.

Probs slightly too wide preflop. Common idea is to try calling lighter OOP when villain is 3betting aggressively, but often that just ends up being even more profitable for him because now he is forcing us to defend too wide OOP.

Postflop play is not totally unreasonable, should be shoving turn with this combo. But basically, it's unecessary, would have been better to just fold preflop. Could consider mixing in some 4bet bluffs if his fold-to-4bet frequency is high.

I much prefer a more aggressive 4 bet strategy against guys who 3 bet us a lot in position. Playing OOP with a hand that can cause us issues with domination is no end of trouble in a reraised pot.

Have you considered whether or not his range is polarised or de-polarised? That matters a lot if we're going to defend by calling.

As played the flop raise with quite a few barrel cards can't be horrible. Villain will probably stack off some overpairs on the flop too.

I'll bow down to @w34z3l better judgement about shoving this turn card because I would have given up.
