Should I be folding the turn?

Opponent is unknown.

I think I can have the best hand some of the time against single diamond draws and TT,JJ with a diamond.
Problem is when I'm behind I'm basically drawing dead, and when I'm ahead villain always has good equity.

You should be folding pre flop. AQo is not a great hand to play in a 3bet pot OOP, it's a great hand to 4bet/fold though.

Flop is close to a fold but it sucks to do that as we flopped top pair, turn is an easy fold for me. Dead against flushes and almost dead against over pairs. I never expect a worse hand to bet the turn that we beat for pot.

Pre: I disagree that we should be folding here, even OOP AQ is too strong to be folding to a three bet when we're closing the action.

Flop: Pretty standard call.

Turn: Turn sucks, I would expect villain to be fairly value heavy with this line and we're are in seriously rough shape versus all of villains value except for maybe exactly QK with the K diamonds. It is possible villain can show up with worse from time to time but I think this is not going to happen often enough for this to be profitable to continue.

If opponent is unknown then I prefer folding pre. Once you have clear stats on villain calling can be ok to avoid overfolding, but if you have no idea about villain's 3 bet range CO vs MP, which is normally very tight, then you're open to making large errors postflop.

Flop is fine.

I would fold the turn. I don't expect him to bet this big on a bare diamond draw.
