Definitely bet the turn for value. If you think you're getting raised often in that spot then you should have the best hand a ton, leaving you not so worried about better flushes every time.

I don't think you can fold the river getting those odds. It's nasty, but with the spazz factor and overplayed hands it should be +EV

Check this turn back! How can we bet the turn for value when we have 7 high @Turlock ???????????????????????????????????

I think I'd chk turn IP, we have a weak flush draw and a gutshot, just can't see a bet there tbh, the Q improves villain's flop calling range too often and doesn't help us at all, so I can't see me calling/ or shoving v a raise there, hence my reluctance to bet.

Oops! This was obv a late at night one after I'd taken my contact lenses out Puke For some reason I read the turn as a flush card

I don't see why turn has to be an auto check back. I used to do that all the time until w34z3l made changes to get me firing more often in these draw spots IP. We also have a 12 out draw instead of just the flush draw.

Depending on what we know about villain, betting can set us up for a potential profitable river bluff. Even if the draws all whiff many guys will check call with a non top pair hand twice then fold to any bet on the river. Checking behind is kind of giving up, and allowing villain to take the pot away with a weak hand in a capped range quite often.

Probably true that the Qh connects somewhat with villains flop calling range, but firing is typically best on the turn. Great hand for a 3barrel unimproved also since the showdown is super low.

River, if he doesn't have a flush it's hard to get paid off. If he has a flush, he probably has us beat. We can reduce sizing and play bet/fold more than likely. Feels sick to bet/fold a flush on the river of course, but the population has a very strong tendency to never raise worse than our hand, so it doesn't matter too much what the price is.
