So I am not sure if I should've played it more agresively on the flop. I also don't have stats for this guy.

From these positions, that flop raise is really scary. I wouldn't be looking to play it more aggressively with 1 pair. A call from MP vs UTG will often include a lof of broadway hands and some strong pairs, lots of which are ahead of 1 pair on the flop. Lots of the time he has a draw it'll be a pair + draw or even better. Basically is villain has a reasonable range preflop then the times he'll be betting this flop his bluffs will have a ton of equity, much more than just a bare draw. The times he's value betting you're potentially draws to 4 outs that might be just to a chop.

I think seeing the turn is reasonable but I would fold to the 2nd bet. I think the situation would be much different if it was something like button vs big blind where ranges are wider.

getting raised when we have AK and hit top pair top kicker hurts, especially since we are utg and villain is MP, that raise is a very strong move from them.
If it was a bigger raise I could see me folding right there on the flop. Given the raise size I think we can see the turn, but from there when our opponent bets again they show huge strength and we can make a fold and move on.

With villain's raise on a smaller side and the fact that we have gutshot to the nuts I think bet/calling the flop is ok, but just like @Komododragonjesus said - raise on this particular texture is kinda scary since it should, in theory, smash villain's preflop calling range. That being said I wouldn't continue on the turn.

I see, thanks guys.

With no stats on villain I would just give up on the flop being OOP.

A regs cold calling range from MP absolutely crushes that board texture, and even though I've seen plenty of players raise Q+ pair here, it's going to be a set or two pair a lot of the time.

Agh...It seems I have problems giving up relatively strong hands.
