mid set on straight-looking board
Right, so i've had two hands very much like this in the last couple of days, and i wanna know if im playing it right or not. The hand was played in 10nl on Unibet, so i'll write it manually:
First off I'm MP with 15.50€ and i get dealt 8s8h. SB and BB both have about 10€
I open 0.30€ and get called by both SB and BB.
Flop (0.90€): 7d 9h 8d
SB checks, BB bets 0.67€
i re-raise to 2.50€. SB folds, BB shoves, and i call.
turn and river comes 7d 9h 8d 3h Ts
BB shows 5h 6h
So i raise the way i did to make it tough for any draws out there (im thinking it's definitely possible for the enemies to have Ts in their hand) i considered the possibility of them to have JT in which case i would be screwed, but other than that mostly, i figured, i'd be ahead. Is my thought process right or wrong? any response is welcome
PS: i didn't have any great reads on the players, so i treated them as unkowns. Their stacks are 100BB which is usually at least an indicator of regs, but i often see scrubs with 100BBs aswell, so...
