Don't think it's a great spot to bluff catch as we need to call a 2x pot bet, we beat nothing but a bluff. Would go ahead and fold, half stack can have ever 2 pair in their range here.

Yes it looks like a great spot to bluff catch. Everything miss and he reps very slim. Vs 2x potbet we need to be right 40% of the time compared to 33% of the time vs potbet, so dont be to scared of these dbl pot bets.

Fold, you block QT/KQ, so he is less likely to have those draws. I think 87 is pretty likely (double gutter on flop and turn).

It looks like a good spot to bluff catch on paper, but it's just so rare for a micro stakes player to use overbets dishonestly. By default, I'm folding here. I just don't think hero calling in spots like that is the recipe to win at micros. This is obviously a very reductionist way of thinking. Surely, if a play is correct you should go for it no matter the setting? That may be so, but as I mentioned before in my experience it's extremely uncommon to see a dishonest overbet from a micro stakes player. Am I calling here vs. a confirmed maniac, or following my read/note/stats? Sure thing, but by default I'm just folding the river.

Think about all the hands you could have here that you would value bet flop and turn with. AA, KK, QQ, JJ, 99, 55, J9, AJ, KJ, QJ. You could have some other hands on the flop that you check the turn with, but forget those. If you are bluff catching the river donk bet, which of these hands are you doing it with. QJ is the weakest and you don't want to call with all of them. Obviously they all lose to a straight anyway but you want to at least beat some weird value bets. So you might want to call with some overpairs and sets, and fold all the Jx. Remember also that you could have the straight.
