I echo's Grinder's advice above. Their flop raise is HUGE, I never expect anyone to do this with total air or a draw( no real draws out there). Think flop fold is good, turn is defo fold.

Against that sizing on the flop I would consider just shipping in the money there. I would assume that when villain chooses this sizing that he is going to end up being a fun player and could easily be doing this with a heavily overvalued overpair. The chances of him folding an overpair on this kind of flop are slim to none then so I think there is definitely value to be had there.

Obviously not shocked to see the set here but I don't think getting the money in there can ever be that bad.

Calling the flop doesn't seem great unless villain is a total monkey that will spew off on later streets. His raise is so large that I'll typically be playing shove/fold against it. Either way, I think the decision has to be made on the flop. From these positions (where ranges SHOULD be tight) and considering he made is a disgusting sizing I'd probably muck it without any info.

As played, if you do elect to call the flop I think you've made the determination that this player could be spewing off and you should click call on the turn.

It would be interesting to see how everybody is doing when facing a big raise on the flop. If we filter our databases I think we can see that folding is best in these spots at the speed-tables when we dont have any info about villain. Even in steel-situations. Start filtering your databases and publish the results here.

With no flush draw there, just a made straight and sets I'm giving up on the flop.

You've posted enough hands of a similar situation to know that even at 50NL people are mainly value raising here, and I would guess that the raise size being on the large side is a tell pointing towards nutted hands rather than bluffs in almost all cases.
