Anon v the Friday night specials friends.

Just a line and bet size question versus such a weak player.

Flop: Mistake here, think I bet a bit weak there versus casual, plenty they could continue with against a larger size.

Turn: Bet quite large, maybe I could even go pot size?

River: Bet or just ship it? I thought about this and realized I didn't know how to work out how often I might get called, versus how often I get folds, verus what bet size to use.

Any help with this greatly appreciated, I think this is important and underrated by us micro guys.

Thanks.

I think this hand is played PERFECT.

Sure you could make it a few more BB on the flop and turn but we're nit-picking.

I like your bet over a shove on the river, think Jx calls a decent size bet but often folds to a jam as we're a little deeper. If you know they cannot fold anything then shoving is fine.

I'm not so sure it matters if this guy is weak. It's one of those flop textures where a villain is coming along whatever your bet size if he has a piece. Micro stakes players love to put you on any number of random Tx here.

I would bet 10bb on the flop and 27bb into a pot of 32bb on the turn.

On the river I like your idea of not shoving, he probably does fold a little too often if you shove, but you can still get healthy value with a big bet when your 'random Tx' misses.

Harvie, don't encourage me or I may do it again!

Thanks both and for the bet sizing advice particularly, nice one. Yes

Bet sizing wise @Pwll I don't know if it would help (probably dependent on what site you play) but I pretty much have a default bet slider setting post flop of 65% / 80% / pot.
I personally use the 80% and pot exclusively for the whales/ reg fish and when hitting a flop like this I'm thinking 80% / 80% / shove!
The fish at the micros will just call anything with top pair - they actually think the majority of the time that aggression is someone bluffing or chasing draw.
That's just my experience mate, for what its worth.
