PLO2 flop decision AAK3

Posted 7 years ago

BB: 110 BB (VPIP: 37.69, PFR: 9.62, 3Bet Preflop: 2.93, Hands: 787)
CO: 212.5 BB (VPIP: 44.77, PFR: 33.47, 3Bet Preflop: 32.00, Hands: 240)
Hero (BTN): 156 BB
SB: 253 BB (VPIP: 87.02, PFR: 20.80, 3Bet Preflop: 7.42, Hands: 1,059)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has KAA2
fold, Hero raises to 3.5 BB, SB calls 3 BB, fold

Flop : (8 BB, 2 players) 736
SB checks, Hero bets 8 BB, SB raises to 24.5 BB

Not sure what the best line here is. As this is only PLO2 and SB is a pretty active player, I'm leaning towards just repoting it to try to get it in there or on pretty much any turn.
At the same time I feel like since I hold the K by raising again I'm going to fold out anything but sets and 45xx. Or maybe I'm giving SB too much credit here.
Any thoughts?

I think you go wrong by potting the flop. It is PLO2 so in general people don't think about your hand that much. You didn't put the suits to your hand or board, which might affect the decision making. But without suits, to give you an idea about your hand strength think about this:

If opponent doesn't even look his cards, you are 50/50 flipping with his range.

Unless you have the nut flush draw, bet smaller or check the flop.

Yeah no idea to pot the flop. We just want to potcontrol and start this with a check.

Id' need at least one flush draw to be raising
