How To Use The PokerVIP Forum

Hi members
Thought I would put this thread up just to help people understand how to get the most out of our forum and use all the features you might have found elsewhere.
Some may seem really simple but this is aimed at new members and anyone who is just not that familiar with forums.
How To Bold/Italic/Underline or strike
So to do this it is very simple. All you have to do is highlight a word, sentence or anything you want and click the upper case B, I, U, S you see beneath your post:
How To Insert An Image
There are 2 ways to do this:
Imgur: If you are an Imgur user you just need to copy and paste the BBCode (Forums) into your post and hit submit.
Upload From File:
Simply click the icon below and upload your image. Choose your image from file, hit insert and once your post is completed hit submit.
Embed Video
In your posts you can embed tweets, youtube videos, pokertube videos, vimeo videos and much more. To do so just copy the entire URL and paste it into the insert media area, hit insert and once your post is ready to be posted just hit submit.
It will show up in your post like this:
Insert WeakTight HH
To do this just copy/paste your HM2/PT4 or raw hh filed into our embedder, hit insert and once your post is ready hit submit. For more information read the dedicated WT hh embed thread Here
Insert Emoticons
Simple click the emoji icon, click on the emoticons you would like in your post and that's it all done. You can also memorize the shortcut bracketed names for them.
Create a Hyperlink
For your URL to click through to the site or page you require simply click on the link icon, insert the full URL and name it.
Insert Playing Cards
If you want to add some playing cards into your post AA just click the club icon and click all cards you want to show in your post.
Name Mentioning
If you want to tag a forum member in a post to either speak to them directly, alert them of a post they might find cool or just for anything else you just need to simple type @followed by name. You then click and choose their name from the list provided below. It even shows their avatars to make them quickly distinguishable.
