I am of British nationality and go by the online alias w34z3l. I am considered one of the top consultants in the field for technical analysis (i.e. database work) and application of game theory concepts to various card games. I make a range of educational content (including the videos and articles here) helping players, software designers and card game enthusiasts to take their strategic understanding to the next level. My background in teaching helps me to communicate concepts effectively and clearly.Whether you are looking to generate a full-blown understanding of optimal strategy or simply pick up the skills to surprise your friends in a home game, feel free to contact me through the message system.

As we move up the limits, database analysis becomes an important tool. In this video we will examine a general overview of stats for a winning 6-Max player, as we try to help improve your efficiency at the tables.

We're using HEM2, but similar can be done by PT3 or PT4. Using database examples from PokerVIP members.

Thanks for this video! It would be nice, if there could be more of those videos :)

Reckon you should do leakfinder review videos where you go through a player's database like you did in this vid.

SamFortunaon 17/8/15

very nice video

@dannyP - potentially rfi will be a little tighter in rush games because we have less fold-to-steal info on our opponents and play less exploitatively. The more info we have though, the more similar our stats will end up being for both variants.

There must be pt4 tutorials online

MinerBoy23on 31/3/15

Only just started watching and will go all the way through. Would absolutely love someone with some expertise in PT4 though to do a database analysis using that software with actual demonstrations of how best to use it as a leak finder tool.

A stat I still can't manage to increase is W$WSF but well... time to time. It would be great if he could continue with this stuff and explaining a little more to us rookies what certain important stats mean!

Viperon 15/2/15

I must say this video has helped me A LOT! I used to be a 17/15 and nowadays Im playing around 28/23 or 25/20. Im second barreling more in certain spots and clearly OR raising more loose.

Jon-PokerVIPon 15/2/15

Will be more videos coming soon from w34z3l!!!

Viperon 9/2/15

Yeah, he should do more!

Really great video! Thanks for this! Gonna watch it and take notes several times.

RazorSlinkyon 3/2/15

Really good video, thank you!

dannypon 3/2/15

Great video! Should the OU PFR% for certain positions be different if you play rush/zoom etc. compared to normal 6 max tables? At least I tend to play alot tighter when playing rushpoker.

whitedawgon 22/1/15

sick video just what i needed :) glad to see im 23/18 and not loosing from any position :0 need to play more hands though

Jon-PokerVIPon 22/1/15

Going to study this one a few times over. Would be great to see how the stats of say a 50nl winning grinder compare to a 2knl winner.
