Re-raise

A re-raise is when a player raises a players initial raise during a play. This if often indicative of there being many strong hands at the table.

e.g "John bet 200, which Vladimir raised to 500. Liz then made a re-raise of 1300 and everyone was like 'Whoa!' before John folded and Vladimir called."
