Went super hard in the gym again last night. Did just short of 90 minutes and even got some nice cardio in whilst on the bike + i walked to the gym and back which is only around 5-10 mins each way but every little counts right?

Last night off the top of my head i:

- Bike for 2KM
- Walked to gym and back
- 3 sets of 10 reps shoulder press
- 3 sets of 10 reps chest press
- 3 sets of 10 reps bicep curls
- 3 sets of 10 reps flys (machine)
- 3 sets of 10 reps pulldowns (machine)
- 3 sets of 10 reps leg curls (machine)
- 3 sets of 10 reps leg extensions (machine)
- 3 sets of 10 reps bicep curls (dumbbells)
- 3 sets of 5 reps DB flys
- 3 sets of 5 reps ...not sure what this is called but when you bring the DB infront of you from hips to shoulder height)
- 3 sets of 10 reps barbells bicep curls
- 3 sets of 10 reps deadlifts
- 2 sets of 10 reps inclined bench press
- 1 set of 10 reps inclined bench press narrow grip

So yeh quite a work out and got the whole body involved!

Onto the next one.

WOW! Muscle What a workout Jon.
Definitely see results with that.
Hope you get the rewards you're after with the effort you're putting in.
How's your recovery after doing all that?
Think the exercise is a front lateral raise.

Recovery is awesome bud. I feel a little tender today but nothing hurts...i just feel like i put in a solid workout last night and i like that feeling.

Lunch today:

- Habanero pork sausages
- Tinned tomatoes
- Fresh tomatoes
- Green chilli
- Onions
- Chilli powder
- Salt/pepper
- Pasta

Was really tasty, filling and wow those sausages are the bomb....cant wait to get them on the BBQ this summer!

Received an awesome set of videos and instructions from Andrew and i put it into practice last night. Body is hurting a little but it was really nice to have a focused routine and i deffs felt it working. I am a little burnt out after going to the gym for the last 4 days so i am going to have tonight off. I just want to lie on my giant bean bag, have some nice food and watch a film whilst i let my body recover.

Try adding Juicing to the diet. Cant talk it up enough. Also perfect for pre or mid session energy boost. Been doing that and Insanity, been awesome.

I tried this a while back and it was OK but i found no benefits from it at all. It was a great way however of getting extra fruit and veg in me so i guess i could start doing it again...maybe just one per day type thing as a snack

Lunch today was a bit of a weird one:

- Crackerbread
- Philidelphia cheese spread
- Butter
- Tomatoes
- Avocado
- Chilli
- Balsamic
- Olive oil
- Habanero pork sausages

Was soooooo good and made quite a nice change that just having it with salad.

Looks yummy! Yes can't beat a nice BBQ! Already had one this year, although the weather has turned these last couple of weeks. As soon as that sun is out I'm in the garden, can't beat it! Sun

Yeh BBQs gonna be happening a lot for me that's for sure!

Had a day off the gym yesterday and feel rejuvenated and ready to get back there tonight. i did slip up last night however and had a few beers and a takeaway. Silly really but i guess this is where my addictions get me!

So anyways about to have a bowl of wheetabix now to start my day off then will see what is on the menu for lunch and dinner.

Feeling so pumped right now!

Really smashing the gym, resting well, recovering well and eating super good. Still enjoying an odd beer and takeaway but not as hard as i was in previous months. Seeing huge changes to my body atm mostly my neck, chest, arms and thighs. My biggest issue in my mind is my stomach and chest as well im obese so really hoping this starts to look different also.

BTW YouTube channels of these guys training and vlogging etc - would a one from me do well do you think? Most just show how they are now and don't show the full journey. Would a full journey be good or to cringe?

I think a video blog showing your full journey would be very inspiring for other people trying to do the same. I like you idea of doing a YouTube Channel would do well.

Seems to me Jon that you have got everything just about right.

That would be a great idea for you to do one. Not only for others to
watch but to keep you motivated and have visual feedback of the
changes happening to you. Movie

I think that it would do well. The journey would be intriguing to people and it would be nice for people to be able to relate and not wonder what happened in between the 'then' and 'now' pictures

Thanks for the comments. I guess my reservations are that:

- I quit it.
- I make a fool of myself.
- I get hate.
- I am self conscious
- May be cringey.

Anyways on a side note i think i just hit my personal best hex bar deaflift by a long way.

This may change as they are double checking the weight of the bar but for now we are saying it was 20KG so my total lift was.........180KG. this works out as 397lbs and 28.3 stone.

The weights breakdown on there

- Bar 20Kg
- 2 * 45KG plates
- 4 * 25KG plates
- 4 * 10 KG plates.

Safe to say i am feeling so pumped. Everyones help showing me techniques, new lifts and different ways to exercise is making me such a strong person. I obviously need to smash the cardio as well but well i am enjoying this and the results are there to see.


EDIT: Got lbs and KG mixed up originally. All correct now.

I think the vlogging thing is a great idea. It would serve as a great motivation for you to keep at it and will be good for others to follow in your footsteps!

I understand your reservations though. Can't be an easy thing, but it would probably end up being one of those things that you over think and when it comes to it, its not so bad. I cannot talk really as I am a very shy person myself but I think this could be really good for you. And well, if you get any hate they are going to have Keri to deal with! Punch
