@Coldie Yeah, pretty bad February indeed.
@Jon-PokerVIP Very nice competition but I'll pass this one for sure.
I just finished another session on ipoker and it just sucks big time. Instead of 11bb/100hands I have a big 0bb/100 hands after around 9k hands. Since I don't have a rakeback deal, I consider it is just o waste of time continuing my stay there. I'll be moving back to STARS to grind that place up.
Some changes have to be made. The biggest one should be in reducing the number of tables from 24 to only 16 at least until the end of the month to see how it works out. I'll be paying much more attention to details and select a little bit better my preflop range and postflop gameplan. I will be playing at NL5 for the moment. In normal circumstances I should be able to reach a moderate winrate like 5bb/100 and from 1st March to move up again to NL10.
My bankroll is very solid for NL10 (around 1k$) but since my last experience there, I feel the need to play a little bit more to NL5 and really see where I am at right now with my game. After this short self evaluation, I think that I should post some realistic objectives for the rest of the month. So here there are:
February Objectives: (feeling good about this)
40.000 hands
max 16 tables at a time
fold alot more to 3bets since there aren't that many players that exploit that
open alot less from EP and MP
fold more postflop
give credit to river raises (this is hard while playing)
exploit the hell out of villains especially preflop (steal, fold to steal, 3bet, fold to 3bet)
valuebet big against villains when I have good made hand
Man, when I write them down, it seems that even a monkey can do it, but while playing is so hard to follow this simple rules.
Good luck all!
PS: the next update will be on 15th February and hopefully with some good news regarding my poker evolution.
