No limit

It refers to the betting structure of any poker variant. In No-limit, a player can make a bet that ranges from the amount of the previous bet/raise to the size of his or her stack in any given round or street. Furthermore, players can place an unlimited number of raises (limited to stack size). Players who make a bet for his or her remaining chips are considered to be all-in. The No Limit betting structure is mainly connected and used in the game of Texas Hold 'Em. No Limit Texas Hold'em is the most popular variant of poker and is standard game for the biggest cash games and tournaments in the world. The No Limit betting structure leads to bigger pots and larger swings as evidenced by the variance experienced by No Limit Hold 'Em players. The variable betting sizes in No Limit games lead to far more complicated scenarios than games that use a limit or fixed bet structure. A slight change in bet sizing for a situation can have many implications for a player. Betting Structure Example: Player A (stack size: $300) bets $20, Player B (stack size $300), must raise to a minimum of $40 and can make any raise up to the size of stack ($300).
