Nut low

This hand refers to best possible low hand in games that have a low component - i.e. Omaha and Stud Hi/Lo, Razz, Lowball Games. In most games with a low game, the best possible low hand is the wheel or A2345. The only exceptions are the lowball games, namely 2-7 lowball. In this game, the best possible low hand is 75432. In split games, the nut low automatically takes half of the pot. In low games like Razz, the nut low takes the entire pot. Experts recommend that a decent hand for any low type game must have an Ace or a Deuce. The combination of the Ace and the Deuce leads to the greater possibility of hitting the best low hand and half of or the whole pot (depending on the game).
